Nestled in the lap of Himachal Pradesh, Dalhousie carries the echoes of its colonial past. Established by the British in the mid-19th century as a summer retreat, this quaint hill station still retains its old-world charm. Named after Lord Dalhousie, the then British Viceroy of India, Dalhousie served as a strategic outpost during the British Raj.
