The sanctum of the forehead has been magnificently designed from timber. There is a Travel and leisure Resort and some Travel and leisure bungalows at Khajjiar where the guests can stay . Besides there are two rest homes one each of P.W.D. and Forest Deptt. A couple of private resorts have also come up, which do not coordinate the above places with regards to place and facilities. Bus service to and from Khajjiar is restricted and timings change according to local requirements. There used to be a golf course in Khajjiar which is not managed. The best enjoyment in Khajjiar is simply to stroll around the river or to go for long walking in the large maple jungles.
Kids enjoy this place because of the independence of activity and the slopy landscape which allows them to move down to the river without getting harm.
