The specific date for the birth of Hinduism cannot be fixed as it is believed to be a Sanatan Dharma. There is no single originator of Hinduism as we find in other faiths.
The religion is made of many gods and goddesses but there are three physical representations of these. They are, Brahma the creater, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. The hold books of the Hindus are the Vedas, the Upnishads, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and the Gita.
