The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet cleared the Ski Village Project near Manali being promoted by Alfred Brush Ford’s Himalayan Ski Village Private Limited with an investment of $ 300 million.

The state wants to throw open at least six similar projects in the area to other foreign promoters.

There will be no government land involved in the project, except five hectares to be acquired for erection of towers.
