Hot sun. Salty air. Rhythmic waves.

A little boy is on his knees scooping and packing
the sand with plastic shovels into a bright blue bucket.
Then he upends the bucket on the surface and lifts it.
And, to the delight of the little architect, a castle tower is
created.

All afternoon he will work. Spooning out the moat. Packing the walls. Bottle tops will be sentries. Popsicle sticks will be bridges. A sandcastle will be built.

Big city. Busy streets. Rumbling traffic.

A man is in his office. At his desk he shuffles papers into stacks and delegates assignments. He cradles the phone on his shoulder and punches the keyboard with his fingers. Numbers are juggled and contracts are signed and much to the delight of the man, a profit is made.

All his life he will work. Formulating the plans. Forecasting the future. Annuities will be sentries. Capital gains will be bridges. An empire will be built.

Two builders of two castles. They have much in common. They shape granules into grandeurs. They see nothing and make something. They are diligent and determined. And for both the tide will rise and the end will come.

Yet that is where the similarities cease. For the boy sees the end while the man ignores it. Watch the boy as the dusk approaches.

As the waves near, the wise child jumps to his feet and begins to clap. There is no sorrow. No fear. No regret. He knew this would happen. He is not surprised. And when the great breaker crashes into his castle and his masterpiece is sucked into the sea, he smiles. He smiles, picks up his tools, takes his father's hand, and goes home.

The grownup, however, is not so wise. As the wave of years collapses on his castle he is terrified. He hovers over the sandy monument to protect it. He blocks the waves from the walls he has made. Salt-water soaked and shivering he snarls at the incoming tide.

"It's my castle," he defies.

The ocean need not respond. Both know to whom the sand belongs...

I don't know much about sandcastles. But children do. Watch them and learn. Go ahead and build, but build with a child's heart. When the sun sets and the tides take - applaud. Salute the process of life and go home.

W hy lawyers should never ask questons...Good one

Why Lawyers should never ask a witness a question if they aren't prepared for the worst answer.
In a trial, a Southern small town prosecuting attorney called his first witness to the stand. The witness was a grand motherly, elderly woman.
He approached her and asked, "Mrs.Jones, do you know me?"
She responded, "Why, yes I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've know you since you were a young boy,and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you. "
The Lawyer was stunned.
Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked,
"Mrs. Jones. do you know the defense attorney?"
She again replied, "Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women, one of them was your wife.Yes, I know him."
The defense attorney almost died.
The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench, and in a very quiet voice, said, "If either of you bast****s asks her if she knows me, I'll throw you in jail for contempt."

While at the park one day, a woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground. "That's my son over there," she said, pointing to a little boy in a red sweater who was gliding down the slide.

"He's a fine looking boy," the man said. "That's my son on the swing in the blue sweater." Then, looking at his watch, he called to his son.

"What do you say we go, Todd?" Todd pleaded, "Just five more minutes, Dad.
Please, just five more minutes." The man nodded and Todd continued to swing to his heart's content.

Minutes passed and the father stood and called again to his son, "Time to go now?" Again Todd pleaded, "Five more minutes Dad, Just five more minutes."

The man smiled and said, "Okay."

"My, you certainly are a patient father," the woman responded. The man smiled and then said, "My older son Tommy was killed by a drunk driver last year while he was riding his bike near here. I never spent much time with Tommy and now I'd give anything for just five more minutes with him. I've vowed not to make the same mistake with Todd.

"He thinks he has five more minutes to swing. The truth is . . . I get five more minutes to watch him play."

The Island

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings
lived ... Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others
including Love.

One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so they all repaired their boats and left. Love was the only one who
stayed. Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment.

When the island was almost sinking, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love asked, "Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There's a lot of gold and silver in
my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity, who was also passing by in a beautiful
vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat,"
Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by, so Love asked for help. "Sadness, can I go with you?"
"Oh, Love! I am so sad, that I really need to be by myself!"

Then Happiness passed by Love, but she was so happy, that she did not even hear when Love called out to her!

Suddenly, there was a voice. "Come Love, I will take you!" It was an
elder of Love.

Love felt so blessed and overjoyed, that he even forgot to ask the
elder's name. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went his own
way.

Love, realizing how much he owed the elder, asked Knowledge, "Who helped me?"

"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"

Knowledge smiled with deep Wisdom and answered, "Because only with Time and Wisdom, are you capable of understanding how great Love is."

I have read your all stories. All are good and inspirational. Then why I sit behind. Here is one story from my side.

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Here are few more stories:

shukeriya jee aap ko hamari stories toh passend aaye Laughing

yea its one of my favs, i hav many fav ones. heres one.

The Doll and a White Rose

I hurried into the local department store to grab some last minute Christmas gifts. I looked at all the people and grumbled to myself. I would be in here forever and I just had so much to do.

Christmas was beginning to become such a drag. I kinda wished that I could just sleep through Christmas, but I hurried the best I could through all the people to the toy department.

Once again I kind of mumbled to myself at the prices of all these toys. And wondered if the grandkids would even play with them. I found myself in the doll aisle. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a little boy about 5 holding a lovely doll. He kept touching her hair and he held her so gently. I could not seem to help myself. I just kept looking over at the little boy and wondered who the doll was for. I watched him turn to a woman and he called his aunt by name and said, "Are you sure I don't have enough money?" She replied a bit impatiently, "You know that you don't have enough money for it." She then told him not to go anywhere that she had to go get some other things and would be back in a few minutes. Then she left the aisle.

The boy continued to hold the doll. After a bit I asked the boy who the doll was for. He said, "It is the doll my sister wanted so badly for Christmas. She just knew Santa Claus would bring it."

I told him that maybe Santa was going to bring it. He said, "No, Santa can't go where my sister is.....I have to give the doll to my momma for her to take it to her." I asked him where his sister was.

He looked at me with the saddest eyes and said, "She has gone to be with Jesus. My daddy says that Momma is going to have to go be with her."

My heart nearly stopped beating. Then the boy looked at me again and said, "I told my daddy to tell Momma not to go yet. I told him to tell her to wait til I got back from the store." Then he asked me if I wanted to see his picture. I told him I would love to. He pulled out some pictures he'd had taken at the front of the store.

He said, "I want my momma to take this with her so she doesn't ever forget me. I love my momma so very much and I wish she did not have to leave me. But Daddy says she will need to be with my sister." I saw that the little boy had lowered his head and had grown so very quiet.

While he was not looking, I reached into my purse and pulled out a handful of bills. I asked the little boy, "Shall we count that money one more time?"

He said, "Yes, I just know it has to be enough."

So I slipped my money in with his and we began to count it. Of course, it was plenty for the doll. He said softly, "Thank you Jesus for giving me enough money," then the little boy said, "I just asked Jesus to give me enough money to buy this doll so Momma can take it with her to give to my sister, and he heard my prayer. I wanted to ask him for enough money to buy my momma a white rose, but I didn't ask him, but he gave me enough money to buy the doll and a white rose for my momma. She loves white roses so very much."

In a few minutes the Aunt came back and I wheeled my cart away. I could not keep from thinking about the little boy as I finished my shopping in a totally different spirit than when I had started. And I kept remembering a story had seen in the newspaper several days earlier about a drunk driver hitting a car and killing a little girl, and the mother was in serious condition. The family was deciding on whether or not to remove the life support. Now surely this little boy did not belong with that story.

Two days later I read in the paper where the family had disconnected the life support and the young woman had died. I could not forget the little boy and just kept wondering if the two were somehow connected.

Later that day, I could not help myself and I went out and bought some white roses and took them to the funeral home where the young woman was. And there she was, holding a lovely white rose, the beautiful doll, and the picture of the little boy in the store. I left there in tears, my life changed forever.

The love that little boy had for his little sister and his mother was overwhelming. And in a split second a drunk driver had ripped the life of that little boy to pieces.

hahahaha dost aap Keep it up karetai karetai thak jayogai Wink

A mechanic was removing the cylinder heads from the motor of a
car when he spotted the famous heart surgeon in his shop, who was
standing off to the side, waiting for the service manager to come to
take a look at his car.

The mechanic shouted across the garage,” Hello Doctor! Please
come over here for a minute." The famous surgeon, a bit surprised,
walked over to the mechanic. The mechanic straightened up, wiped his
hands on a rag and asked argumentatively, "So doctor, look at
this. I also open hearts, take valves out, grind 'em, put in new parts,
and when I finish this will work as a new one. So how come you get the
big money, when you and me is doing basically the same work?"

The doctor leaned over and whispered to the mechanic.....

"Try to do it when the engine is running".
