Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, said that State Government would consider starting of Elementary Teachers Training Programme in the State to meet the required manpower demand emerged with the restructuring of the education system in the State.
He said that providing education to the children upto the age of 14 years had been made mandatory.
Information technology courses had also been introduced in some of senior secondary schools where students were being educated about the latest educational trends.
He said that his Government would safeguard the interests of the primary teachers after its merger with the Directorate of Elementary Education, financial and promotional benefits due to them would be given from time to time |
