Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister called journalism a pious profession which needed to be accomplished with responsibility and missionary zeal. He was addressing the Silver Jubilee Function of Hindi Weekly Himachal Kisari at Dharamshala last evening after he honoured people for their distinctive achievements in different fields.

He said that in the age of information technology, news is traveling faster than anything else and global events were made available to news hungry people within few seconds alongwith visuals which is significant achievement of the modern technology.
