UGC [University Grants Commission] on thursday released 50 million rupees as an additional amount to the Himachal Pradesh University for infrastructure development.The Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh had announced an additional fund to the university during his visit in May 2005
LRVerma Vice Chancellor of the university said the university would utilise the amount for construction of the regional centre, examination block, information technology block, parking facility and entrance gate of the university.
GOOD NEWS FOR THE HIMACHALIS

This huge money will sure give benefits to the University students, IF it would be utilized in the proper manner. Generally, people sitting in the higher seats always take their commissions from government money and in the last only with small amount of money, You can well imagine How this small money will utilized?
