The HP High Court has stayed the appointment of eight doctors posted at Dr Rajender Prasad Government Medical College, who were regularised by the state government by ignoring the selection procedure.
The court observed that if these doctors had completed their term of contractual appointments, then there contract would not be extended further.
The court also directed the Chief Secretary and the Secretary (Health) of the state to file their reply within four weeks.
