Trekking In Himachal Pradesh
|
The land of many facets. Himachal lies to the south of Jammu and Kashmir State. The lush green valleys of Kullu & Manali are populated by the descendants of Hindu Aryans, while the high arid desert plateau of Lahaul and Spiti is a stronghold of the Buddhist religion, and is similar to Ladakh and Zanskar, in landscape as well as culture. Not much of the fascinating area has been explored yet, and the valleys of the Dhauladhar range, populated by the Gaddis or the nomadic shepherds of this region hold mysteries in their lap for you to unveil.
